Container Monitoring Now Includes Container Logs

You can now read the logs from your containers next to their metrics, so you can see what a container was doing when it misbehaved. Atatus Container Monitoring now collects the logs your containerized applications write, from errors and warnings to debug messages.

Logs from all your containers, services and environments land in one view, tagged with the container they came from, so you can filter to one container or search across all of them in Atatus Log Management.

Container Monitoring Now Includes Container Logs

What you can do

  • Watch logs live: Follow logs from running containers as they arrive and catch issues as they happen.
  • Spot errors fast: Errors and warnings are highlighted, so problems stand out from routine messages.
  • Filter and search: Filter by tags, time range, severity (info, warning, error) and more, and look back at past incidents and trends.
  • Use container tags: Each log line carries metadata such as service name, container name and ID, container type, image name and image tag.
  • Get alerted: Get notified by email and other channels when a log condition is met, such as a rise in errors or a specific error code.
  • Connect logs and metrics: See log events next to container performance metrics to understand how they affect your application.
